Sure you have to pay to play but too rich for me, way energy and transport is going can’t see the point!?

90-100 rwkw 50-70 Nm more than my daily eco wagon, for $210k+.
Interesting exercise and in an academic sense I’m glad someone has done it but $300k on shiny bits to pose off

When more is never enough. I believe Harrop also include height and penis extension with this package.

It's relative though, you are thinking in terms of your own budget and value on things. Look at what the Arabs are spending on their toys in Dubai, they have the income to support their hobbies. Someone on $300 a week probably wouldn't see the sense in spending what you have either.

I'm not as surprised that someone would spend that money as I am that someone would offer a kit for a total potential market size of 300, with ... what, about 100 (at most) of those being cars that actually get driven?
They'd want to break even on the first kit they sold ... ?

If I had a few Mil in the bank sure I'd buy one, why not.
On a normal budget though, No way!

I reckon 99% of the W1's sold are to people who are buying them more for investment than actual driving.

this sort of mod could actually hurt the value long term

Yeah, expensive always makes for a good show, and is monument to the last, exclusive, ridiculously overpriced line of LS Panty Droppers:

More ‘merican fat dumb rich than Holden battler. Would rather a Redline Ute around the ‘ring.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if the timing were right. Not due to the 474kw peak power though. There's a 610kw GTS here in Wagga. It cost a lot more than my MSE. But there's no way I'd trade. Call me crazy if you will. It's an awesome car. Bit not what I want at this stage.
The value in the W1, as with all great things, is about the entire package, all it represents and personifies. ~$200k is what it cost to get into one. They sold. Hence they were priced right.

At 474 rwkW, if this Harrop had an HSV badge it would be 610 kW as well.

Maybe so. But this GTS would still kick it's arse.

I'm confused, wouldn't that mean it was kicking it's own arse?
    Is that a physical possibility?
