so i decided to take 1 wheel off at a time to polish and tyre shine them and when i took off the passenger rear i noticed 2 massive bubbles on the inside wall of the tyre here is a pic what couldve caused this and and it fixable by letting it down re-sitting the tyre and inflating again or am i up for new tyres? :beer chug: guys
can be because it pinched once on a kerb while flat, other times overinflated. I had one once, just replaced the tyre for safe measure, its not worth the risk of a flat/blows a hole
the brand is neuton.... not sure about pinching a curb, its on the inside of the tyre... ive had them on these rims for 4 months and the ex owner had them on since new and this has just happened in the last 3 weeks coz they were fine when i moved them from the front to the rear of the car... might be better off replacing i suppose, better to be safe then sory... thanks guys
I had the same thing with some 20" Chinese tyres. Mine were only 4000kms old, so I claimed warranty on them. I've now got continentals which weren't that more expensive than the Chinese rubbish.
Best to replace those tyres. Achilles ATR Sport Tyres I bought these for the fronts. eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d Use a continental mould i heard from memory. Great grip, very quiet and reinforced side walls (early versions of it had side walls blister after 40000kms or down to treadwear marker)
thanks heaps guys.. these were on the wheels when i bought them, they were fine until i noticed this.. i will definatly be replacing them. thanks again guys..
