Well like I said, you've basically got full control over what your car's doing. Manuals generally get better fuel economy, although that depends on how much lead is placed upon the accelerator pedal ;).

And they're so much fun!! Plus doing heel-toe downshifts sounds cool as, and if you practise enough your gear changes can become smoother than any automatic gearbox will ever achieve. Of course, this is influenced by the quality of the clutch and gearbox.

Yeah, what you said about the quality of the clutch and gearbox is so true! If you've had a go at an Accord Euro Manual, you'll know what I mean.

Manuals are the thing of the past, even Formula Ones are starting use automatics.

Well, actually, all automated gearboxes will be banned from Formula 1 come 2007. It will be interesting to see where the hell they're gonna put a gearstick in those extremely tight cabins. They might even have to put the gearbox in a different place too for ease of operation.

No Aircon +++ Thats why Japanese and Korean cars are popular. The ++ features on Holden are standard features on Japanese and Korean Cars. Come on Holden, we are in the 21st century, not back in 1947!
