Ok guys ive just recently bought a vt s about a month ago now. Since getting it ive never driven it overly hard and havent noticed anything. However when driving over the weekend i just opened the taps on take off and noticed that when i went to change to 2nd (it a manual) there was a strange sound coming from firewall area. Normally when takin off i dont need to go over say round 3000rpm but when i was shifting from 4000rpm and over i noticed it. Hard to describe a mate that was in the car thought it was a blow off valve, it sorta does but best way to describe would be to say like rubbing to bricks lightly together...
Anyone ever had this or know what is it?
Thanks in advance

Hard to say unless we can hear it.

Sounds like a worn or cracked clutch plate or it may just be the springs expanding.
Best to take it to a mechanic to have it looked at asap incase its something serious.
