    gday i just signed up.
i just bought a storm knowing that the volume of the speaker drop!!!
i dont know if its something to do with speed or whatever, has anyone else noticed this- is there a way out of this (electronic, special program) to change this, i like my music loud on boring trips like all of us.
obviusly my other alternative is new head unit but money is the problem.

if anyone knows anything i would appreciate the trick, thankyou.
    alternatively email me (matt.farley@hotmail.com)

The volume is speed Dependant, you should notice it get quiet when you slow down and louder as you speed up, you have to change it in the start-up menu when you turn the car on and just after the holden logo and system check thingy goes away you should see on the screen an option to scroll through some options.

theres also another way you can do it through the headunit itself, well on my dads vz calais we did it anyway, we found it in the book, you can disable it, or crank it right up so you notice it getting alot louder as you speed up

Yeah i have it at the strongest dependent volume, it's a pretty cool feature i reckon, but it can get annoying when your going different speeds (60, 70, 80, 100) all in the same drive because you have to keep turning it down and up to avoid distortion unless you have the anti-distortion on which i don't because of the after markets.

Didn't know you could do it through the head unit! Maybe it's just a Calais thing, i'll have to check it out when i have time
