well about a month ago i noticed me resivoir was empty but radiator full, soo toped up reservoir, then a week later cheked again, was down a bit in reservoir, then checkd radiator, was full but noticed nice minly **** on radiator cap but not in radiator now yesterday checked it again and reservoir is empty and radiator full but lot more milky **** under cap but not in the coolent/water in radiator

no water in oil, or water/sludge under oil cap, or water in auto oil either

also no visual coolent leaks anywhere on engine! (water pump was leaking a couple months back but repaired that and now fine)

could this be intake gasket???? cars done 180 000 k;s but i replaced the inlet gaskets at 80 000 k for good measurs soo there 100 000k old

Mine use to do the same thing and my inlet manifold gaskets are new… I figured it was spitting out the overflow hose on the reservoir tank.. Fill the reservoir tank up and take your car for a spin and then when you get home check to see if water is spitting out the overflow..

hmm well not any comming from the overflow bottle soo must be internal, there has been a slight miss in the car at idle and when driveing, also useing up a fair bit of oil for some time now but now its getting worse, no leaks etc, im leaning towards intake gasket, mite do head gaskets etc at same time but will have to see

you could always put a coke bottle on the end of the overflow hose to double check. it could be leaking as you drive

definally not comming from over flow bottle or the tube that runs below the overflow and under radiator etc, plus it wouldnt explain why theres oil in the coolent....

You could try pulling your plugs to check if any have powdery black deposits on them which could indicate water entering via the manifold gasket....however it does sound like the manifold gasket is the culprit.

    update!

seems to be keeping the coolent in it.

also seems like if i only drive it short distances it leaks coolent allot but if i drive it long distances it dont leak anything.

Have notice the heater tape is leaking. But still dont explain why there is oil under radiator cap....

    cars gotta love em hahaha
