Hi all,
Looking for a thin 'space saver' rim that will fit the big disks on the 2010 VE HSV GTS..
The std space saver won't clear the disc/calipers
I don't think they make em as standard, but thinking a rim from a different model/make might fit?
gotta be 5x120 pattern of course and a big enough center hole..
not sure if it needs to be 20" rim to clear.. but a smaller rim with taller profile tyre might do, if the inner space allows clearance.
Anyone with a GTS done this before?
thanks

Why not try locate a 5th wheel similar or identical to your current wheels

this piece of s*%t x5 BMW my wife had used a 20" steely spacesaver and it did have big brakes but prob not as big as GTS, could be an option? plus the center hole will be to big I think so would need a center ring

Try and find a HSV generic spare wheel, they're 20"x8.5", and will clear big brakes.

Hi, thanks
Will take a look at the BMW x5 unit...
Can't use a fat spare, space is a factor... in this particular/unique situation...!

I have no idea, and I make no apologies for it.

Does the wheelwell accept a wheel of that size, diameter and depth?

Something to consider also, no need to ask me how I know

Hi,
All too hard..
Ended up settling for mounting 2 x cans of Tyre repair inflator.... $20 each from Supercheap...
If/when it happens... so be it!
just FYI
