hi guys my girlfriends sister broke down and we needed to lend her our barina battery as hers **** itself, in the time being i tryed to put an old battery laying around in her car to make the car start so she could drive it and the bugga sparked herendously and started to melt the battery terminals. i stopped trying after that and waited for her battery to come back when it came back i noticed her cd player wont turn on anymore... have i blown her cd player?

As far as the CD player goes, I'd like to think that the fuse protected it. If it's aftermarket there's probably another fuse on the power wire from the player close to the back of it, or some have one in the back of the player itself. I'm guessing you mean that there's no power going to it at all and it's not a security code thing.
    Fingers crossed for ya.
