Went to a few shops today . So atm I'm now looking at a 12 inch boxed sub new 6 inch splits for the front and a amp. I was wondering if a sub box will squeeze in right up against the back seat .

Is your car a ute or sedan?
Either way any decent job will be able to make the box you want.

Is that install at JB? $475 for installation and wiring is cheap.. Does that include any sound deadening treatments?
What made you go for a Kicker slimline sub?

thats full install . no sound deadening treatments that i know of.
the reason i went for the slimline is that i use my boot a bit. i was thinking the kicker 12inch box/amp combo but it took up a fair bit of room . i was then thinking about boxing two 8's and having that bolted under the parcel shelf ( they only require 15l each ). but the slim i could have sitting up against the back seat and only sticks out like 15cm also the fact that it was cheaper then buying two 8's and building a box for them.

Fair enough mate! Best of luck with the stereo, be sure to post a few pictures when it's all done.
