My Bt1 has seemingly no provisions to wire up a addable speed arlert its got the reccess in the dash but no loom at the back I`m bidding for one ebay I just want to complete the dash as it`s looks empty anyone with a bt1 had the same journey/problem. I could just dummy it up though I like the feature of the digital speedo, and would rather hook it up.
i should say that there will be a plug somewhere deep into your dash or even under the bonnet that you will be able to plug the loom into. im not sure though but with my VT i have a plug under the bonnet for cruise control but the wiring doesnt go through into the dash, so i would need to buy the module and then the loom. does that make sence?
Ok I`ll dig around, C/C need`s its own relay/fuse I think and that reminds me do you need one for the speed alert or is it shared.
Most vrs didnt have any provision for it...you can have the spare one I have for 15 bux... even has the plug that you are looking with wire ends for you to tee off your existing loom wires .
