Speed bump logic?

the ones at my trade school are killer. 4 speed humps in a matter of 100 meters. overkill?

Ha know wat u mean. got them at mine to here in w.a, about 10 in total and only a small car park

at shelley beach car park on the central coast there is like 8 within a 30m area at both sides of the car park, its so stupid it feels like your riding a horse

I've got exactly 10 cm clearence on my exhaust so seems that I'm lucky there's no speed bumps around here. Who pays for damage done to legal height cars? local council? vicroads?

not sure if it's different down there (but i doubt it is) any damage is the onus of the vehicle owner. you've basically got more chance of winning lotto than getting the government to pony up for damage caused by their stupidity

councils wont cover costs of damages caused by things like potholes so good luck claiming it for a speed bump

My grandpa managed to get a payout from his local council 2 or 3 years ago that ended up with his BA falcon getting written off, so it is possible. (although, very difficult)
