Spring compressor and fog lamp Q

    Do the common el cheapo $70 RRP spring compressors work well on the front springs (out of the car) when trying to get them off the struts.
    Also Ive just bought some foggys vr/vs ss and want to mount them but it looks like I`ll have to take off the front bumper and drill holes AS THERE IS NO HOLES JUST THE MOUNTING "BAR" am I missing something or is that sound right. (and yes I have the bezels installed)
