spring installation

    Hey guys got a set of low king springs and wondering how much it would be to get them installed at pedders etc it is non IRS and just springs atm not shocks etc.

    probably somewhere under the $90 mark for all 4 springs. It'll save ya if you do the shocks and struts at the same time ;) looking at maybe another $90 on top of that if you were to come at a later date after getting the springs put in.

    you can do it for free yourself.

    Just get some spring compressers if you dont ahve them allready $40 odd dollers (ok not really free) then again if they are the super lows you may not relaly even need them.

    My mate used a jimmy bar to get hes stock springs out then used hes huge roof tiler arms to get hes King springs super lows in on the rear.

    The front requires removal of.

    Wheel
    Caliper
    Roter

    Then drop the tie rod off of the tie rod end.

    Then undo the strut at the top and drop it down and start pulling the strut appart.
    Dont even touch this one without the spring compressors, my mate did hes without it, but well, im not that strong.

    hahaha sounds like to much of a hassle mate think ile jst get pedders or someone to do it, cheers

    yeah your better off leaving it with the pro's if ur not too confident about a DIY job. get it right the first time ;)

    True I guess, as not getting it right can be fatal...

    I had a mate help me when I did it and that's how i learnt
