Springs for VS Ute

Can some one explain the difference between FE2 springs and normal coils, I have a very low VS ute, I would like to raise up to just below standard height. Are shockers different lengths to suit the lowered springs..cheers

FE2 suspension had a different size swaybar, different spring rates and different shock valving. Also harder composition panhard rod and control arm bushes. The ride height I think may have been slightly lower than standard but not that much. Around 10mm I think.
