Hi All,

What do you guys recommend for spyware/adware detection and removal?

I've just re-installed super anti-spyware free addition as the old version was freezing.

maybe there should be a sticky thread with this kind of information with links to preferred software. maybe include anti-virus software as well.

yep spybot S&D has removed crap from my PC numerous times. Even after Norton 360 kindly let some maliscious **** through

we uninstall microsoft security essentials..

Spybot is awesome. So it malwarebytes. Between the 2 you cant go wrong.. For AV i suggest Avast free..

I like Microsoft Security Essentials and MalwareBytes myself...SpyBot is also good. Those three catch just about everything without really bogging your system down (unlike Norton....)
