i have had a squeaky belt for a little while now. Checked the bearings on the pulleys with the screwdriver to my ear trick and they aren’t squeaking. I got a rag and put pressure on the belt while running to clean the belt and the squeaking stops and returns again a little while after. I have tried putting pressure on the belt with the tensioner and it still squeaks. Not sure what else to try apart from replacing the pulleys to see if that is the problem. I have noticed a little wobble in the belt on the tensioner pulley.
Cheers,
Red.

There is a wax type block that you rub on the belt while the engine is running. Try that before anything else.

Possibly, Bursons would have it I'd think, as would Repco. Mech used it on my ute and it worked great. I never asked him where he bought it from unfortunately.

You wouldn’t happen to know what it is called?

Nope not really, it would probably have anti squeal in the name somewhere.

Quick squirt of WD 40/RP7 etc will fix it, and no, it will not make the belt slip.
Cake of soap also works.
