SRS Air Bag Fault VY

unfortunately it's a tech 2 job......

When you take seats out and disconnect the airbag you need to

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND WAIT 20 MINS SO THAT THE AIRBAG CAPACITOR DRAINS

or it will throw a code.

Cheers, So thats where ive mucked up i didnt disconnect the battery, how do i fix this code?

depends on how well you know your holden dealer, I'd only be guessing, ask them.

but if you can deal with it till you get a service , wait till then.

That's what I did and they just cleared the code as part of the service/oil change.

Im looking for help on my vy i changed seat to a vz seat plugs are all same turned on car n srs airbag lights was on so cn I js unplug battery for 20 mins n plug it bk in n will be ok or not

If you unplugged seats with the battery still connected then that will cause the srs to show, but the seats are not the same even though the plug may look the same.
eg Some VZ seats have air bags whereas VY don't have to my knowledge.

series 2 have side airbags in the seat. i think the code will stay if you unplugged with power still on yeah. cant remember fully. need tech2 to clear it.
