I have a problem with my auto trans shifting when giving it a good poke..... it seems like it gets stuck between gears and free revs and nearly puts me through the windscreen. It has happened twice now and was wondering whether anyone has come accross the same problem?

Auto flaring in the ve is nothing new. It's the worse shifting auto i've ever come across personally. I've had my tuner look at it and although it's still not completely out of it, it's 100% on what it was.

sounds like it could be a line pressure problem, one of the shift solinoids might have **** itself or about to,i'd be getting it looked at asap. if you get it serviced get them to put about half litre more fluid than the full amount in as well.it will help the line pressure a bit more and its a method used by many tuning shops.

it used to happen randomly in mine and my tuner said to put another 1l of transmission oil in. seems to have fixed the problem.
