Hey people,

I was thinking of getting an SS bodykit for my vt. I was thinking about getting a vx kit, i was just wanting to know if there were any differences between the vt ss and the vx kit? Also i emailed holden and they quoted me 1200 supplied, is this a good price or could i find cheaper, or should i look at a different kit? I was also considering a clubsport kit. What do u guys think?

Cheers

a vx SS kit will require you to change the front headlights to the tear drop vx ones and i think the rear vx SS bumper comes with the reflectors in it which a lot of ppl hate.

stick with the VT one and instead of going the complete kit you can put the skirt kit on which will be heaps cheaper....basically the front and rear bumpers are 2 piece...the main bit of bumper and then the bottom skirt bit....

dont go the clubby direction....stick with the SS one....looks better on a stock VT....the HSV kits on a standard VT are a bit "try hard"

if you do buy a kit, spend the extra money and get the genuine one as opposed to the cheap and nasty fibreglass copy.....

Nothing :'(
I'd say out of those options go the VT SS. I personally like the newer model HSV kits, but it all comes down to personal preference

Is there a major difference between a complete kit and buying the skirts and such like you said. Got pics of the two?

Where would I go to get quotes for a good wuality kit that you're saying, rather than a cheapo fibreglass one?
