Getting my headers and cats fitted next friday and mafless tuned, will let you's know how it sounds
Sounds sweet putting the headers on will make you cream ya pants after just running a cat back, 100% better sound
who is going to do your tuning I kept my maf on mine even tho the guy who tuned it tried to talk me out

hahah creaming pants sounds good, svs up here is doing the tune for me, pretty much only good place and they have done heaps of maf and mafless tunes so hopefully all goes well
Once you have a full exhaust system the out lay of a the rest of the cam and valvetrain is not all that much if you shop round.
I wouldnt mind doing it but a have my race car to play with at the moment.
Or you could put a blower on it, Just a thought
I'd get Extractors, Hi Flow Cats, MAF OTR, Cam Kit and a Tune.

I was planning on keeping mine. Doesn't it help keep the car running how it should?
You wont make any more power with out it and mine is still under warranty so if i have any dramas i can put it all back it stockish if i have too.
The guy who tuned mine said its basicaly just easier for him to tune and elminates any maf probs you might get down the track.
I have a custom turbo commodore man its a nightmare getting everything to work right.
I Guess if you got a tried and tested kit it might mot be half the headache

The big reason to keep the MAF with a VCM intake is that it's one of the few OTRs that are legal. However if you rip the MAF out, it's not.
But as said, VCM are claiming there's only 1-2rwkw difference with VEs when tuned appropriately. I know there are plenty of others who will argue that point - just saying what I've been told by VCM and the results they've achieved. The VE MAF is much less restrictive than older models.
Mate I've got a 2.5" system (catback, extractors) it gives good noise no drone...but i want something louder btw its all xforce...i would go with them

yeah the blue ute on the Hitech channel is fantastic. Not sure what's done to it though. I'd imagine 1 3/4 hitech headers and their 2.5 inch cat back.
