If they both take air from behind the headlight, why does the v8 have a massive OTR as the main picture?

that is not an OTR its the rdaitor shroud that come on the ls1"s read my EDIT in my last post.

Hmm, okay that's a little clearer now.. I will probably just hold off for now until I know a bit more about this.

Hm so they don't have air boxes with filters? How does that work?

The filter is in the front you can see it behind the mesh. thats how all good OTRs are i have a ramjet. google it
