G'day Y'all
I am cruising up to Canberra end of month
to see Phreddy for a blue light fix.:w00t:
& look around.
Has anyone installed the "Big Mouth" Growler Cold Air Induction pod ?
from SS Inductions.
They claim "Expect up to 11kW increase at rear wheels for the V6"

Was thinking of installing before the run

SS inductions = SS Reductions.

Back to back dyno testing has proven that SS inductions kits actully reduce power. Your better using a Manaro cold air intake kit available from holden.

It will also cost you $40 instead of $500.

really?

sweet!

This may sound stupid to someone who knows crap all about engines, but i know less than that; Will a Monaro cold air intake kit fit on the 175kw v6? or is it just for the 8's?

the alloytec's have the same air box as the gen 111 v8s. but hsv and monaro's have a second hole on the bottom of the air box which is meant to give really good gains for a $40 part.

also gen111 exhaust systems fit on the alloytec's (minus heder/extractors of course). which a second hand one can be picked up pretty cheap and its full stainless steel.

Check out Ebay there are heaps of LSI systems that have been pulled off new cars. Should be able to pick up one real cheap, $100 is possible.

So the actual monaro mod is actually just the airbox base with some extra intake hole area for better breathing? Anybody got part numbers?
Just became a vz owner and remember from my past vr/p days the ss inductions boys pumping their gear for stupid money when the factory stuff was a fraction of the price.
