SS Mufflers on SV6

Same again, ebay special, under $50. Be patient and some will turn up in Melbourne. Just remember the different lengths between sedan and Ute / wagon.

where do you rekn would be the best place to pick up a set?

Go to your local exhaust shops as they will all have them. I picked up my set off a brand new SSV from A1 Exhausts in Brisbane..

They had a whole pile of VE SS/SSV/HSV mufflers..

I got a quote from my local exhaust shop for genuine Holden SS mufflers and they quoted me $500 for the pair hence why I began looking on eBay where I scored a set for under $150.

I rang every spare part place in Canberra and was told that I was dreaming if I thought I could pick up a set of VE mufflers from a spare parts place given how 'new' the VE model is.

Thought it was odd but nowhere in the 'Berra had them.

Keep in mind that the rears from a manual SS are different to the ones from an AFM model. The afm has a single exit with the quad tips being made by a y pipe while the manual rears have true dual outlets. The manual ones will be slightly louder

Would the HSV 6.2ltr exhaust mufflers be the same as the SS mufflers? my dad has a set from his GTS im just wondering if i should put that on or sell it and put aftermarket one on..... also is the SIDI 3.6 Exhaust the same as the alloytec exhaust

Is there a difference between ute and sedan mufflers?
Could I put mufflers from a SS sedan on my SV6 ute?

Sidi doesn't matter but the mufflers won't fit. Utes have longer tail pipes
