Ive been thinking to swap my boot lid with this guy that has the lip spoiler in gloss black. I have the high wing. Am I going to regret it? Or should I do it as soon as possible?

There is no right or wrong answer - its a personal preference.

The only think I would say is if you need to go to a public forum to get advice on if its a good idea to change something cosmetic on your car like a spoiler, you are probably best leaving it alone. You clearly aren't committed to changing it.

Daniel is right, there is no right or wrong.... But IMO the big wing looks far better than the lip spoiler. I think it creates a nicer shape to the car and improves the look of the rear end.... But thats just me haha

I'd leave it as is with the rear wing. If you are undecided you don't necessarily want to change it, so don't swap it for the sake of it.

I ordered my SSV with the wing instead of the lip.....think it looks so much better, but that's my thoughts

Lip for me but I am not into bolt-ons like spoilers.
I like the cleaner lines of no spoiler.

Lip looks better imo. But this is just like asking random people their opinion whether they like dogs or cats. It's not going to give you the answer as to which one you like better.

I have the big wing & would prefer the lip spoiler, I just personally think it looks better.

Actually if anybody has a fantale commodore & wants to swap boot lids, I'm your man!

Thanks for your input guys. I actually like both but I think i'm a lip person. Only went with wing cause of the wife's input (some of you may know what i mean)

I will be swapping over boot lids with a guy this week that has the lip so either way i would have been happy hehe

    Cheers

IMHO, one of the best things with the VF over the VE is not having a rear spoiler (wing) standard on SV6, SS. No aerodynamic value, adds unnecessary weight, impedes rear vision and offers no improvement on visuals. Only benefit is allows blocking high beam headlights from behind by lowering/raising head.

why not have both.... Factory lip spoiler then JDM the **** out of it with a C-West or similar item..

While your at it, get one of those Honda Prelude bonnet wings as well....

Think you will find holes are in different positions between lip and wing, but if changing actual boot lid then all good.

Lip only on a Senator .. nothing else.
