Hi guys,

I need to change the headlights on my VE SS, I love the SSV projector lights on the SSV, would they fit on my SS (wiring and fitment).

Reason I'm asking the eBay ads all say SSV and Calais only.

Thanking you in advance.

Yeah they'll fit. Complete swap over, plug n play.

Just make sure you get the right series - 1 or 2

That's what I thought...

Thank you brother. Just found it weird they say only for the SSV and Calais and not all VE series 1.

I'd say they only mention SSV and Calais is because of the projector headlight.

But I've got an SV6, with SSV headlights.
Straight swap out, same plugs.

Bro, did you have to do any mods to the lights? I got some eBay dude claiming they need modifications lol

Aren't they just the same light (series 1) but just different internals IE the projector?

As @DAJOKER mentioned, you remove the lower spec light assembly and you replace with the projector assembly.
Plug the loom in. Replace the bumper. Adjust the beam (which you need to do on any lamp assembly once it’s removed and reinstalled). Job done.

So the bumper has to come off?

Also, is there a write up about adjusting the beam?
