anyway the engine is a 6.2 but its badged as a 6.3 and the car is named so to because they like that better thats like me puttin 6L ss badges on the SV6 not cool:banstick:
MASSIVE FAIL!!! F1'd? I assume you mean you illegally drag raced someone on a public road... F1 cars don't drag race. They're circuit race cars buddy. And what you did is seriously dangerous, ignorant, stupid and there's no excuse for it. You don't deserve a driver's licence or a car. Seriously! 120kph? What if a kid stepped in front of you without looking? This is one time I don't give a **** about an infraction - YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!! Even moreso for posting on a public forum!!! :banstick: :fewl:
Firstly, there aren't any traffic lights in 100kph zones. The speed limit changes down to at least 80kph when there are traffic lights. Secondly, you think 20kph over the limit (even though you were doing more as it wasn't a 100kph zone) while racing someone on a public road isn't stupid? GROW UP FFS!!! If you want to race people, take your car to the drags or track days. KEEP IT OFF THE ROADS!!!
i do not condone traveling at any speed greater that that mandated by the legaslative devision of the govenments authority for transport. even if i disagree with there enforcement practices.:cops::ranting::upyours:
CSP, leave law enforcment to the police. We've all been over the limit before, even if it was by accident.
Ennis Av in WA drops to 80kph for a set of lights then once through the lights there is a 100kph sign within 10 metres. I don't see the problem in seeing who can accelerate to 100 quicker, there isn't any footpath or houses around. Is there a law against this? What are your opinions?
If its out in the country, backroads or industrial areas in obscene hours or just empty roads I really couldn't care. It's street racing thats the biggest problem. crackah didn't give us that info so meh, move on.
In my opinion, I think that they should jusk make the SV6's and all V8's rev up to 7000-8000 rpm. And keep the standard 6000 rpm for the entry levels. I think you will pull 360 hp easly from a V6 and 580 from a V8. Why can't any one do it?
one word wrranty. they are going to limit their warranty expendature any chance they get. keep the revs down =less chance of a engine failure.
Why would you want to rev something out to 8000rpm when it makes peak power at around 5700rpm? Talk about going off topic.
