All VP's have 2km increments. At least all the 5 litres. You should know by know VP's were Holdens race model
Dammit!! I've lost this argument then. Any more background info? Holden's race model?? What other cool stuff did they get? I was so sure my mate had 2 BT1 clusters at his place. Damn.
Any conformation on that guys? like v6 vs v8 speedo etc Was it the VN bt1s that had the 2kmh increments?
I have a VR BT1 that has a 2kph speedo... all the BT1s do as far as I'm aware. Damn VPs being the odd one out. I don't think the V6 VPs have them, just the V8s. Sam
V6 VP exec dash I had, also had 2k increments, as did the VP Berlina of GOLDIGAs my understanding was ALL VP's did?
Yeah my VN 5L BT1 has the 2km incriments. But i am fussed because when i bought it the vn is badged a late 91 VN(maybe its has VP parts)lol but has a rear vp boot and bumper,or maybe just some one had just switched it over.Hey also where can i get that gear for the back of the speedo for the odometer, where can i purchase this from???Mine stopped working a week ago and its driving me nuts,.
In answer to my own question, it seems that: Every BT1 has 2kph increments and the speedo is calibrated properly. i.e. spot on, Police spec. All VPs have 2kph increments but are factory calibrated, i.e. a bit less accurate than the BT1s. KRUPTD, yours will have that dash because it's a BT1 not because it's a later VN... as for the odometer thing, find somewhere that repairs automotive instruments and they'll be able to supply a reco one for around the $120 mark and set the odometer to whatever you like. They use a metal gear when they reco them too, not the factory cheese plastic one lol
