Start Up Problems!!!

    oh lord, i am so annoyed.

    i'm having problems starting up. ONLY TODAY has this started, i turn the key, sometimes it just won't start, other times it starts and then just cuts out. one or the other usually happens before it starts ok.

    okkk wtf? :cry:



    ... ok the beast IS working ok now straight after i made this thread, uh. but any ideas as to the problem? if it arises again?

    Could be ne number of things.
    Your park switch is on its way out.
    Key may not be making proper contact with the reader.

    Theres probly more. . . . .

    Its a part of the auto gear selector. car ahs to be in either neutral or park to start. Wont start in and gear.

    Dam it, now Im guna have 667. . . . .
    Not quite the same. . . .

    Does it do it every time???
    My old VS used to do the same thing, I just got used to it and thought it was a nice quirk. . . .

    ohhh sorry i know what the park switch is lol just didnt know it was called that :p

    I would say it your key (head) as you are also having issues with your central locking....
