Ok so being ultra smart I forgot to plug the maf sensor back in after removing the otr to clean it out of the car and wound up starting the car without the maf plugged in afte rI put it back together. Ran rough and then the contact dealer warning popped up and it clicked what I had done, plugged it back in and it seems to be running fine but the contact dealer warning is still coming up. Will I have damaged something or is the warning staying on the dash untill it gets reset?
Also just tried to reset the warning as per service warning reset and no luck with getting rid of it...
unplug "MAIN" fuse...its easeir, then if that doesnt work try the battery. got rid of ABS and DRIVETRAIN error on a mates vz
Most dtc's that come up for the ecumenical can be cleared by cycling the ignition on and off 3 times. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the advice guys, got in the car this morning and hey presto the contact dealer logo had gone away! Happy days!
