Starter Motor wire

VL twin turbo. VN5L. old jeep, **** mondeo.
i am in need of a bit of advise, i want to put a kill switch on the wire to the starter motor. where can i find the wire that goes from the ignition to the starter motor, what colour is is? i have all the covers off around the steering collum so i can see it all, i want to get it done tomorrow as i have the day off work, also friday but yeah i would like to get it done tomorrow, thanks in advance,

Hey there not sure if you have done it or not......


But the wire is a thick purple coming from the ignition if you cut this wire then it will cut the starter motor........hope this helps cheers

hell of alot easier, safer, and a bit better hidden if you go for the fuel pump instead.

Ok well in that case it is a thick purple wire located in behind the drivers side kick panel........confused yet???? LOL
