    hey guys just wondering where the starter motor is on the vns? are they easy to replace?

    green 355 VG ute
    left side rear of the block...2 bolts holding it in and a 13 mm nut holding the positive lead on, a female connector holding the solenoid wire on.

    yeah its down about level with the chassis rail, the way ive done mine is remove passenger side air pipe and exhust manifold (2x 13m bolts at the bottom)
    boooona, some have 3 bolts, 2 from underneath and one from the side..

    ive changed my starter 3 times in about a year stupid crappy ones
    then yeah a spade terminal and a big beefy bolted on wire, i wrote a guide on how to do it
