Hi
Im having issues starting my wb v8 after storage.
Ive put fresh fuel in the tank changed fuel filter
Changed oil and filter
Problem is that it wont pull fuel from tank
It will start and run if i run a length of hose from fuel pump to jerry can
Fuel delivery from tank isnt an issue because i can siphon from tank up to fuel filter
Thoughts anyone?

Diaphragm in pump is probably garbage after sitting.
Maybe a new pump is in order (or rig in a small electric pump for testing before confirming the engine as a whole is good)

Is it still possible to buy rebuild kits for this pump?. Just thinking it would be easier than pulling the pump out

Pump should be bolted to the engine block right hand side from memory and it will have to be removed to be rebuilt or replaced

Don't have to unbolt the steering box to get to the fuel pump....Here's a picture of it's location right near the harmonic balancer

I think he means the power steering pump.
But again, nah you should be able to walk around it.
(access from underside of car maybe)
