startup problem?!?!?

    hey fellas,

    the last few weeks when i start my car it will start ok then the revs will drop to under a thousand and the car will rattle and shake for a few seconds then the revs will go back up and it will be ok! im gonna get it serviced soon anyway, but does anybody have any suggestions what it could be??

    vaccuum leak im 99.9% sure of it, i had the exact same thing with my car.

    Check ALL your vac rubber hoses, esp the foam insulated one coming off the throttle body. But it could also be on the fuel line, manifold gasket or even a leak in the a/c vac hoses behind the glove box. Mine was a vac leak around the injector O rings.

    Get yourself some bubbleup/bigblu or just steal some of your kitchen's dish washing detergent and spray it around the said places. a vac leak will be more noticable at idle than under throttle ive found. good luck with it.
