statesman 5l wont start!! ecu maybe a problem??? need help asap!!!

    i just received a clubby ecu (so i could use the hsv chip) from a friend of my mine for my statesman and i tried to swap em over and it crank but no fire!! then i decided to swap em back but i put the hsv chip in the statos ecu but now it still wont fire!! :cry: please help!!

    Check that it's actually seated correctly.

    Also did you disconnect the positive terminal first?

    car should still start without a knock sensor ECU goes into limp mode and engine warning light will come on

    Mate thats all you say and you say the same things in other posts. And if you read, the problem was solved. I dont think the BCM is involved with the starting or running of the engine in any way.

    well im not sure...all i know is that it wouldnt start with the clubby computer in it..or the chip....

    We have a 1994 VR Statesman. It has a beand new battery and starter motor, but their are days when it will not even turn over. Why would it be doing this ?
