How is the ride now ?

Even as low as it is, the new shocks have made it so much nicer.

The struts that were in the car was date stamped 1994 so it's been riding rough many years, its a lot better now with the sports ryders

did you fit a camber kit when you lowered it?

I've got a pedder's camber kit sitting in the box at home, I just haven't got around to fitting it (slack I know)

Nope, I pay trade price on tyres (only about $72 each) and considering the car is only driven once or twice a week its not really too much of an issue.

Might do it one day though.

fair enough. my VR is my daily so it's something I should really look into.

Yeah, I really should do it just for the hell of it, cos the kit is pretty cheap.

That reminds me I should probably book it in for a front wheel alignment as it will be pretty far out after having the front end disassembled/changed.

Definitely worth it if you lower the rear - I scrubbed the hell out a brand new set of 19's before I even realised that my car had been lowered before I bought it!
