I miss yeast donuts.... I was a baker for many years and used to eat chocolate donuts everyday. When I head to SA I buy at least one a day.

Better to seek forgiveness than ask permission right?...right???? (I shouldn't be left alone unsupervised with the internet)

I figured it was better to get this setup perfected and be confident in it on this engine while the new one is being built. That way I won't have to worry about extra first start/break in complications, the new engine is likely to be exceeding the factory manifold's capability.

So far new engine is looking like:
* Crane 284
* LT1 valve springs
* 1.65 ratio rockers (carried over from my current engine).
*Hypertec flat tops + 0.30 off the heads (hopefully around 9:5:1 compression).
* TK's oiling mods.
* Standard bore size etc.
* 3000RPM Stall

Yes, just wear earplugs for the repercussions/ tirade.

Why I got( happy to pay when it became available) a starr manifold = not over that factory look = can always upgrade later.
Very interested to see how it goes and what you think when done.

Sweet. Good to see you stuck it out with the stock fuel rails. I used Aeroflow ones and went down the rabbit hole of AN fittings....

Aircleaner is a bit on the small side for that carby ;)

Brock style cold airtray would spin people out.

Didn't want to try eldelbrock elbow with ls throttle body?
