I'm servicing my power steering pump, trying to replace the front shaft seal. It looks to me that I will have to remove the main shaft in order to replace the seal. But I can't seem to work out how. I'm guessing you need to remove whats left of your front pully, and do I need a pully puller to do that? Or is there some way to remove the whole shaft from behind? Cheers..

The workshop manual says to remove the pulley with a puller....and then you pry the old seal out and tap new one in.
Hope this helps.
