    when/after installed new steering rack, do you need to top up or fill any fluids

    like transmission fluid, oil, power steering

    or while installed when un doing anything will any fluids leak out

    When you undo the 2 thin pipes at the rack you will lose fluid unless you block the pipes quickly. If you lose fluid you will need to top it up when you put it back together. If you lose too much fluid you will need to bleed the system. After changing the rack you will need to bleed it anyway.

    if you're changing the rack, you will obviously be losing the fluid thats IN the rack, so you'll have to top up at least that much.

    also just checked out

    not sure if this is right, when you push down on the steering boot the pressure comes out the boot and also goes out the left hand side one 2.

    and....

    after the part where is goes from boot on the right hand side to the out tie rod end, you can rotate

    is that normal

    let me know thanks
