Steering Rack replacement advice

Hi

Im about to replace the steering rack in my 94 vr calais. Is there anything i should know? Eg tips, things I should do??

yip count the turns when winding each tie rod end so your wheel aliment be were it was when you fit new one , not much else .

 

[two-bit]

make sure its the right rack as well, Calais will have a speed sensitive rack, get the tie roads close to what they where. its pretty straight forward thing to replace
