    hey guys just purchased a vu ss ute got some old vy stuff left at home. do you think the vy gear knob and the steering wheel will fit the vu and will the air bags work

    Yeah. When you find out the airbags don't work it's usually too late to do anything about it.:)

    Was wondering more along the lines of will the steering wheel fit? And is the vy airbag the same as the vu?

    Yes it can be done as the VT thru VZ (including VU) splines are the same, just some minor wiring mods to do.
