hey guys.
I have a pioneer PH7950UB headunit. what i wanted to know was, is it possible to integrate my steering wheel controls with the head unit?????

You can, you need to buy an extra component though. It's called a CAT (some number). Can't remember exactly what the name is, but you can get them from JB's. They're expensive though... Pretty sure you plug your steering wheel control wires into the CATt, and then the IR transmitter which you get with it will need to be installed in the car somewhere, aiming toward the HU. The IR transmitter will then transmit the signals to the HU and hey presto, it works. Basically it's turning your steering wheel controls into a remote.
Atleast this is my understanding, I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong.
