So some time ago, as many other VY steering wheel controls do, mine started to fail.
I’ve finally changed them for a new genuine unit, however I still have the same issue where each button performs the incorrect function. (I have searched many threads & posts but haven’t read anything similar).

    Mode - Nothing
    Next Up - Mode
    Next Down - Next Up
    Mute - Next Down
    Volume Up - Mute
    Volume Down - Vol. Up

Could this all be caused by a seperate issue? Possibly the clock spring?
Also, since the change, my antenna now extends no matter which function is selected on the head unit (before the change, it stayed down no matter what).
Another issue since the change, the ABS, Check Engine & Service Error all appeared on the Dash but have now disappeared.
Could this all be related or just a coincidence?

Have used the Aerpro install kit which included the steering wheel control harness.
Have just changed the steering wheel controls for a brand new genuine set & still the same issue. The issue did begin with the original head unit aswell
