I like to gaffa tape them together, then tape them to the floor with the same stuff. Works for TV studios, so why can't it work in a car?

Ha-ha....we used copious amounts of gaffer tape when I used to work for a cover band in Melbourne.
We used to collect all the used tape at the end of the night and in 12 months, had a gaffer ball the size of a basket ball.

Used said tape on the carpet at one hotel and ended up ripping up the carpet pile when we tried to remove it.

oh... I use gaffa in cars all the time when do a strip back and rewire... Sent the young fella to the store for some more and he came back with flouro orange.

I just wish I could remember the brand we used in the band.
Good God, it stuck like s##t to a blanket.
That was back in the late 1980's. May not be available any more.
