Our 2013 VE stereo volume knob likes to decrease the volume when twisted clockwise to increase volume.
The volume control on the steering wheel works perfectly.
Any ideas for this problem

I have the same problem. I'm guessing a new head unit is required but I've just learnt to live with it and use the steering wheel control.

I would be interested if there's any other fix.

No new head unit required. You can swap out the facias.
Alternatively I posted a thread on how to dismantle the facias. You might be able to give it a good clean. Volume button pulls off but the ac ones need a jewelers screw driver to carefully remove the centre cap to access the screw holding it on.

Clean with cotton tip and isopropyl alcohol

Most ve commodores do this . I pulled the nob off and sprayed some contact cleaner on it and it fixed it for a while or alternatively you just pull the nob out a fraction as you increase the volume.
