when i take my foot off the accelerator after planting it, it sticks or something and i have to tap it slightly and it goes back to normal but wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did about it.

always sticks at about 1100 rpm in drive. and i tap it and it goes back to normal idle speed.

check out my other thread about my plug leads if anyone could run out to the shed and check on their car that would be kool. thanks.

Sometimes the build up of crap in the throttle body can cause it to stick a bit. A good clean will help. Or it could be a frayed accelerator cable. Disconnect the cable from the throttle body and turn the throttle by hand, if it doesn't stick then check the cable.

mine used to stick until i filled the cable up with machine oil and cleaned the throttle body..

one of the problems with our model is they made the cable too long. i think in the series II or even the VX they changed the setup.
