hey guys i posted something a few weeks ago about the air in my radiator.

well it started wen i changed my coolent i while ago. ever since i get this sound of water running past the dash wen i start the car up(only for a couple of seconds) anyways ive asked the mechanic he doesnt kno. i tho i could just undo the airvalve and let the air out. which i did, but the air keeps comin bak. anyways i found out i had a crack in my radiator. so anyways got a newie. i tho it would have fixed the problem but im still getting that noise, and i figured out that its worst wen the unit is turn to hot air. wen its on cold air. its doesnt do it, if it does, its very rare and only for about 1 sec wen i start her.

i got told to put like a cut in half milk bottle in the radiator cap where u fill it up , and put some water in it. turn the car on, let it idle. and let the water run into the radiator.

done all that and its still making the noise

anyone had the same problem before? or any ideas?

    thanks

Did you do that with it running and the heater turned to hot? It has to be up to operating temp too so the thermostat is open.

Thats how I got rid of my water noise. Something to try, don't know if it will make any difference, drive the front wheels up onto ramps or jack it up then try the milk bottle trick again. Getting the filler up to be the highest point in the system may work.
