Hey guys did anyone know if the factory headunit in a 2010 ve sv6 can play mp3's off a cd?
I've tried a few different cd's and had no luck so far

I have a series 2 sv6 and it plays mp3's off a cd.
It even displays track title, artist and album if the track is tagged with that info.
The following tips apply to my old home stereo system but may give you a clue to your problems

1. The cd must be finalised. This means that no more tracks can be added at a later date. Some burning programs use the term closed.

2. It is posible to create a multi session cd where tracks can be added at a later date but ultimately the cd must be finalised or closed. My old home stereo would only play the first session.

3. My old stereo system would not recognise a re-writable cd.

The burning program I use is Ashampoo and this program can often be obtained for free from various computer magazines.
