A while ago I had a few mods done to my 6L helping it to produce 500+ HP.
The upgraded Harrop axles looked like this after a few months (and a few legal skids). I was disappointed as I had the axles and CV's upgraded or built so it could handle skids.
Needless to say they were still under warranty and so were replace. But they didn't fork out for the munted stock LSD unit. I had that replaced with a kazaa LSD unit. No trouble since.

What is used as the standard LSD diff in a club sport because it certainly doesn't look like a standard BW80 LSD.

Those gears look like they came out of a truetrac type centre.

You're onto it. Sorry, my mistake. This is the second LDS that went bang. The original one didn't last long either. And yep. This one is a Truetrac unit.
I was told because both units were a Torsen style action and won't handle to many skids. So I went to a plate style kaaz diff.

That is weird, my understanding is that the truetrac should be able to handle that sort of stuff although I have heard that the eaton centres aren't quiet as strong as the Harrop centres with the billet casings.

I did see another thread where a guy had trouble with a truetrac when he had a puncture and drove a fair distance with 2 different diameter wheels on the back.

I love seeing driveline components annihilated from brute force, just not the cost to replace them!!
