Ok so update. Not as much has happened as I would have liked. Few hold ups, work, money and had to give borrowed welder back. All that is sorted now though so on we go.

Had to remove and redo siderails as they were all on the piss.




Finished off front shock mounts, they might look a little overkill but It's not uncommon for cars to ride up over eachother.


HQ gearbox, these things are not cheap in nz


Cage


Rear shock mounts, fuel tank mount and bumper bracing




Started on dash, Glow in the dark cos I can



Picked up EL engine, that 100cc over the EA engine will surely have it wheelstanding


How its looking atm


Really need to get cage sorted so I can finish off seat mounts, then go over it and finish the welding. Then paint and stick it all together.

Race ready max weight is 1500kg. Doesn't sound like a lot but theres only the bare essentials there haha

Well 99% of it is steel. Even with all that steel the cars still fold in half over time though

Update: Rust...that is all

But in other news I have new welder running sweet and am dying to get back into it. Garage only a few weeks away with cage being done sometime in between which should see it on the track around January.
