yeah a bit hard. drivers side aint easy. had to jack up the car quite high, and the motor a bit too. takes a lot of maneuvering to get them in

if your going to get a sunroof dont do it the cheap way. I think you can get them about $1500 drive in drive out

LOL. love that idea. and yes, real bitch to install in the driveway. got it started tonight. has an exhaust leak though, was way too loud. will fix tomorrow hopefully. catback is cable tied on due to the hangers being two inches away from where it should be.

haha yeah ive seen the results of a dodgy installation. results in a written off car pretty much

ps. im surprised noones asked about the VH in those photos lol

cable ties melt mate, use fencing wire... where is the leak from? the pacies or the flanges?

I was looking at some pics of cheap sunroofs. Some were not straight, others the cuts didnt meet the seal properly. Rust every where etc.
I want a sunroof on the SV6 but i gotta find out if it will void the warrantee first.

yeah those are good ideas. basically just using it now to hold it in place instead of holding the exhaust up with bricks. then i gotta drive it about 20km to the exhaust place to get fixed up

i dont know if the cable ties will last 20kms. There will be load on them, plus the heat there is a risk they will give up after a very short time

see if you can get it out, if not try a little loctite on the thread then do it up. When you get to the exhaust shop let them know it needs replacing.
